Ill be going to check this out today as the 'man flu' seems to be on its way out of me. hoping to nip there at lunch time get the chance so I can take a picture when its still light

I so hope this track is good enough to start running immediately, or with minimal TLC.

It will need some TLC if we start using it though.

I still cant see why anyone would just build a track. I know andy spoke to them but I didnt think they were going to help with the construction.

I had a look at e track this morning, I also spoke to the guy that built it.

It's built by a guy named Jiffy who works at the Kartdrome.

the surface is firm in places and loose sand in others, There is a raised bank behind the track that make a nice drivers area. Other than that it's pretty basic, but if you don't use it it will be gone before long, so if you want an off road track start using and improving this one, I am sure Jiffy would enjoying meeting you all and any help you can offer.

I have a picture of the track taken from the drivers area and will post it if I can get mynphone to connect to my pc.

Ive just been down there now and it seems like the area is quite well lit so we could do some evening racing.

Looks like ill be picking up a short course truck soon then!

No they are not, hence why the track needs improvements

If we manage to get the track wet. I think it might look like this. What we need is small bumps like these for shortcourse.

chaps, if your all going to decend on this track just remember it's built by one guy - Jiffy. Seek him out and say hi if it's not busy at the kartdrome. If it is busy let him get on with his job and don't give anyone any reason to believe that this is interfering with his job.

jiffy knows that the tracks biggest flaw right now is that the tyros are not fixed down and that they get bounced around if you hit them. So make sure to restore the track if you do have any collisions.

last weeks turn out was rather poor with only ahmed and myself there.....

I'm in town, but I'm not sure if I can make it this week. Will see how things go.
