off topic...is anone heading tomorrow morning to Dxb Autodrome for the National Touring car race. Free entry to Grand stand & PADDOCKS. I'll be there at 8am with my camera in the Paddocks.

Most of the teams are pretty good and let you have a good look around thier cars. I think last year the Lap 57 drivers were letting kids sit in thier cars

Let me know if any of you are off to the autodrome I am almost as close to it as Dan. Bring a mini if you can just in case the lady from the funcup is there. Also might be a good opportunity to give your crawlers/scalers a run on the rocks and hills around the pit parking.

The do practice in the morning the break from around 12 till 2 for prayers and lunch. Racing starts properly at around 2.

So i guess all the traction compound got washed away......just as the track was getting super sticky!!!

Don't worry, with all the dust washed away ,and some more coke it will be much better

We may need to do some research in local market as to what is available, and what cost.

They all seem much the same product but probably slightly different formulation and branding.

Yeah, I am in Ras al Khor Industrial and have been checking on some of the local suppliers here, but not found anything useful.

The only concern I have with that Novus product is that it mentioned somewhere that it should not be used over oilbased surfaces, and I assume tarmac is such a thing.
We would need to wash the surface, and then spray it on lightly and see how it goes....I reckon we should get a drum (or something similar and test it out for a few weeks on a part of the track...

Are we gonna have any traction roll issues "cough" SAM "cough" with the treatment?

hahahah...........i have so much traction roll with my stock tamiya tires. I'am gonna race with drift tires this time....
