These look more 1:8 scale rather than 1:10, looks like they are old buggy/ truggy chassis with some monster truck paddles, is theres a nice big castle motor in one of them.....pair that up with MMM on 6S and then you're talking serious power and dirt blasting capabilities!

now all you need is empty quarry/ excavated construction site/ mountain !!!

Hey Strawb, you may be onto something with a wildcat FoFF!

i would feel bad cutting up all the hardwork you did on the wild cat just to fit those paddles!

Agreed to much time and effort into the wildcat shell!!

If i were to actually do this, i would order the lexan shell version...... so you could narrow it down a bit and it would keep things lighter

agreed, the cc01 under the wildcat is rubbish i would even consider it for something like this!!!! it cant handle a 17T brushed on 2S let alone a decent brushless setup on 3S.....i think the transmission would melt into plastic gooop.....

well ..... if i was to do one of these FOFF's ..... i'd go with the axial ax-10 axles ..... axial tranny with HD outdrives .... MIP CVD's ..... custom made skid plates .... custom links .... custom steering .... Mamba Max Pro .... 4700KV BL motor ....

slash 4x4 + 3S + 4 sand paddles + dunes = loads of fun

I never really knew what my CR01 Land Cruiser was for but I lowered it, put a big pinion in it and converted it to coilovers. All I need now is to fit a hotter motor and I am forumla off road ready !

No paddles but -


Its close - I will try it with a 13t hobbywing and see how it goes. I think anything hotter and it would be a bit too tippy.
