im not sure if this is new but Formula Off-Road is getting a good following now ....

as well as RCC has recently taken serious interest in doing these in the 1:10 scale ...

but the berg and xr-10 rigs i have now has put me on financial hold for this month and the next!

get some cheap 2nd hand ax-10 axles and tranny .... HD CVD's ..... any chassis you wish to run .... Nice BL Esc & Motor Combo .... and definitely 3S lip or higher!!!!!

If they do a Nissan Patrol or Toyota Land Cruiser option......the local guys will love it......

...also if they could get the sound of the engine bouncing of the rev limiter, that would also help.

Seriously does look like fun, time will tell if the SCX axles will handle 3S lipo, but I suppose if they can withstand crawling, they should be up to the task....

there are lots of upgraded parts to BEEF up the ax-10 scx-10 axles andy! .... HD CVD's and all that!!!! ...... plus i believe 5S or up would be a lot more fun!!!


what i like about crawling and FOFF is .... the customization part of it ......

its gratifying to build something out of spares and extra parts rather than opening up a box and following the instructions!!!!
