it's not about speed though. . . .its just nice and slow. . .

I have crawlers, but they are scalers apart from the CR-01 which is also not a comp crawler, but it is fairly capable.
Would be nice to have couple of guys get involved, it is fun.

Richard, that crawler looks really good now, cool job.

I am going to try and unload my TF kit just before xmas, and then I will go for an AX-10 or the Losi Comp crawler...

OT: Andy. . . i bought a BEC from T&U, although they don't call it BEC. . . they call it voltage regulator

I've always been keen to get crawling, been thinking about getting myself one as a Xmas gift from me to me!

Andy, have my eye on the Losi comp crawler too.

Hopefully in january we can have a couple crawlers down at the sessions!

I'am looking at the Axial sxc 10 something with the LandRover body. Might get that.

I love it for the scale ladder frame chassis more than all out rock crawler.

It's the from a guy i know in rccrawler.com. . . he's shop name is Death Metal Garage. . .
That's the Aluminum Losi Tuber (ALT). . . he does really sick tubers. . .

I have two spare CR-01 axles, and a whole bunch of spare parts. I have some new gears to, but I will need to get a new gearbox.....anyone have a CR-01 gearbox lying around?

i think its a 2.2, it has a 12.5 wheelbase. . .kick a&& chassis!! a bit expensive though. . .

You're going to have a performance review for this.. . if you get it. . . coz i tried searching it in rccrawler.com. . . no one has got it yet, although its been in the CR01 threads. . . .

Pretty impressive chassis i agree! Definately not cheap.....

Andy what electronics and motors you gonna put in there?

I dont think it is that expensive, but thats because I have the axles already, they are complete, but I need the gearbox cover and some driveshafts. I saw an alu gearbox cover for US$15, but will need to check which other components I need. In effect, I could build this for less than I would cough for a Losi Comp....I think.
I have a 55T Integy Lathe motor that would go nicely in it...but then would need a speedy with a brake.

Will see.....defo a 2.2, with some Proline Hammers on it would be pretty good.
