| Hey, anyone know anything about this mod? Check the link. The mod somehow gives you a bit more of a rear wheel drive effect allowing the tail to slide out easier. Here's a vid. It looks quite cool. And it makes the cars look more like the real thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xyh_k6WVT5o | |

| Countersteer (overdrive) mods are applicable to mostly belt driven kits. I might be giving this a try very soon. +D | |

| you are right josh... its ONLY applicable to belt drive kits as you can change the pulley gears to either front or rear but for our case (drifting), we can replace the rear pulley gears to higher teeth than the front thus creating an overdrive. make sure also that you have one way differential gear on the front so as not to stress the front tires as they will not rotate at the same speed |

| I'm not sure if there are any available sizes for the diff sir ashyy.
Another problem that a shafty might face is that the shaft itself will experience a lot of tension. It's because the shaft will spin the rear diff 'tighter' than the front diff. So it's almost close to impossible to do overdrive a shafty.

| i think they dont have and even if they do, it will not fit inside the gearbox as each kit have there own sizes of diff gears. :albino: |

I believe these should fit the TT01. Just a theory though. It will most probaby NOT fit. The attacment of the small bevel gear is different. You have to machine or file the hole to make it a slot for the shaft. The mesh between gears is very critical. If it's not correct, there will be damage on them for sure. If anybody is planning to use this overdrive set-up, better use it on what it was made for. But if you have no problem modifying it to make it fit, go ahead. As i've mentioned before, ODing a shaft driven chassis is much more complicated than with a belt driven one. And after ODing, your kit will have a completely different "feel" from the one you were used to.

| fellas, will this work on my TB03. got this thing from hyperdash. does anyone there done a cs/od mod on tb03. it looks like it will fit on the differentials of the tb03. the challenge is the small gears, as far i remember the small gears has a "pin" on it. i think the modification will start on this. for sure this project will give me a hell a lot of headache. | |
