Please note that these are house rules and apply to PRO RC racing events only.

Championship Series Format
The 2013 PRO RC’s Championship Series is a 1/10 Electric Touring championship series. The series will be held on PRO RC’s racing track and will consist of 7 rounds, which has been announced lately. Best 5 of the 7 rounds will be counted.

The winner of the round will get 55 points and the rest will be as following:
2nd = 53 points
3rd = 52 points
4th = 51 points
5th = 50 points and 1 point less till the last driver.

The winner of the championship series will be who collects more points in his best 5 rounds.

Race Format
There will be two groups in each race. A controlled practice session before the qualifying session will be held to determine which group each driver will be racing in. Top drivers will be in A-Main and the rest will be in B-Main.

We use the AMb/rc timing system that will recognize all AMb/rc and compatible transponders. These transponders are required for all race events, and the club does not provide transponders. Please notify PRO RC’s officials if you are sharing a transponder with another driver.

Race Etiquette
You MUST give way to race leaders and if you crashed another driver, you are not to continue until that driver has passed you.

Car Specifications
Batteries:
PRO RC allows any hard case 2S LiPo battery packs. Charging in the special LiPo charging bag
 is appreciated.

Motors:
Only 10.5T Spec Brushless motors are allowed

Tires:
The race organizers will provide the tires. All wheels will be marked with special numbered stickers. Every driver gets 1 set of pre-mounted tires. At anytime, drivers can buy the second set of wheels, if they want. But two sets are the maximum for the weekend. Every driver should use his own tires, which will be marked with his car number.

Car:
Minimum height with body = 115 mm
Minimum weight = 1350 grams
Wing: maximum width 190 mm. The wing profile has to fit in a rectangle of 25mm (height) x 40

Trophies and Prizes
In every round a trophy will be given to the top 3 drivers in the A-MAIN and the B-MAIN.
At the end of the championship series prizes will be as following:
1st = 5,000AED
2nd = 4,000AED
3rd = 3,000AED
4th = 2,000AED
5th = 1,000AED

Every driver who participates in at least 5 races this season will get a special gift at the season finale.

Entry Fees and Registrations
Registration should be made by emailing your first name, last name, and transponder number to prorc@prorc.ae

Before every round it will be announced when the registration is starting and when will be the last day of registration. Timings and the start of the round will be announced before every round.

Fees will be 180AED – including 1 set of pre-mounted marked tires.
Entry fee is to be paid at the track.

Unfortunately I broke a rear belt and could not compete in the 2nd and third finals. I had ordered a replacement but it had not arrived yet.
