On road Meets

Hi Guys
Are there any On Road Meets here in Dubai? for F1 or On Road cars 1-5th scale

The wonderland track is only for electric 1/10 scale (and maybe smaller), and it looks like you are running 1/5 scale nitro.

The track (car park) at nad al sheeba was originally made for 1/5 scale and you can run nitro there, but I don't think anyone goes there any more and I have never seen a 1/5 scale car there.

Search the forum you will find the location map.

Only other option is Al Ain for nitro onroad. It's a nice track, but more suited to 1/10 or 1/8 at the most. I don't think 1/5 will be well suited but worth the trip even if it's not ideal. At least it is a proper track with curbs and a drivers stand.

I can see the attraction of 1/5. Your F1 looks like a fine piece of engineering, but here 1/10 on road is the most popular, and electric more than nitro as there are more places to run them. Search youtube for prorc dubai for some track footage at wonderland. We usually start around 4 - 5 on Fri or Saturdays, come for a visit.

Thanks for the info Really appreciate it. I used to race in the UK as well as Germany and mostly 1/5 scale FG's and Lauterbacher I am looking to see if I can get a track sorted out in Shahama
on the way to Abu Dhabi near the F1 Carpark may be some of the members here may be interested if I can get it arranged I will keep you posted Once again Thanks Best regards Mitch

Tamiya m-chassis at Pro RC, its much slower than the 1/10 touring cars but you can get an idea of the track
