i used to have this scaler before


but unfortunately i traded it for an MOA. . .

but lately i'm into 8th scale nitro buggies and truggies, coz here was only 2 of us into crawling

I'm new to Dubai and I dont know many places to crawl around here. I managed to find a decent spot near Jumeirah beach. Where do you guys hang out? if its somewhere in the city then I can join as i dont have a car yet to make out far out.

we used to do crawling in Al ain, as the terrain there is quite nice. . . but it's a far drive. . .

there's one good spot at the creekpark, they have a rock garden there, but i don't know if it's good for scalers. . . .

This is what i was looking for. Some of those rocks look decent enough for scalers. I'm planning on getting a comp crawler soon. The Gmade R1 or the Axial AX10. Do you guys organise competitions? Also, is there a local hobby shop selling crawlers or scalers?

When we used to play in al-ain, there was just 3 of us, regardless, we did fun comps, just to get the hang of being competitive, not just bashing your rig. . . .it was fun. . .

we still can do fun comp. . . why not. . . but until now, we haven't had any people interested in the hobby (crawling). . .except for you. . .

for scalers on the other hand. . . there's quite a number who own the scalers here in Dubai. . . but they all haven't had the chance to gather and do trail runs. . .

everybody seems to have a preferred fun (whether drifting, touring, nitro, helicopters ,1:1 offorad , etc)and not that much on trailing or crawling. .. unfortunately

but we are harcore crawlers

we will do it 1 on 1 style



and do take note ...... we never sold our rigs ..... they are here to stay

Even before you guys know it, there will be a 4th crawler in the group!

Let me see how i can work a comp crawler in to my lineup. I have three scales and one nitro, one of them needs to go first.

In the meantime, if you guys aren't climbing boulders I guess my SCX10 should be able to keep up.

we have no issues with that ..... its just that we do set up our courses a little advanced cos we do run MOA's

im pretty sure you'll get the picture when we go out and crawl

why not visit area2 on friday 4pm .... we will be having a drift competition and we can bring along our rigs so you can check em out

by the way. . . i saw an xr10 at hobbyzone, they're selling the kit at 800 or 900dhs
