hey bro, nice to here from you again. weve been waiting for this event since march i think, so this really is a good news for everyone.

with regards to the meeting, ill talk with the team and make sure there wont be any conflicts with the sched, will let you guys know which friday were gonna be there.

as for the track layout, what we do is we practice for 3 sessions and on the 4th we have our mini competition, last saturdays session was our 4th so its time for a new layout. will start working on it, try it out this weekend and send you guys a copy if it turns out ok.

will be seing you guys sometime this month so get your batts charged and leave the nitros for awhile =P

almost forgot.. some of the guys here are running m-chassis touring aswell.. do we have that category lined up for the event? i hope there is.. or theres gonna be mayhem for the minis lol

@altimeters: if the m-chassis touring guys can lay-out their track, then, i think it might be possible. Frankly, the original plan was rc drifting, nitro drag race and heli 3d demo. If we will inject m-chassis touring, we have to properly allocate the show time alternately. I will check this out with the Adrenaline guys and will let you know very soon.

i suggest we stick to the old plan guys.. use our next track which is this one.. wrc style

regarding the track, i think people would want to see some RCs drifting together and not away from each other..
most probably, they have'nt really seen something like it before so maybe, just maybe, they would be more interested in seeing cars sliding one after the other.. more like what people would want to see during real drift competition.. plus, we won't we able to drift all in one go since there is an intersection..

i'd go for permanent track no. 2 + extension to maximize the alloted area..

btw, this event is really very exciting! i just know that after this, our hobby will reach a lot of people and encourage them to try it and join us..

We can also go for the Special track but in twos. We just have to make the track wider.
Will that be hard? =/

Otherwise we should stick to Track02 for viewing pleasure.

Maybe it's time for Track 03 to be made? =P

- long track for viewing pleasure

Hey guys, I extremely love the new track but I feel that we've only been thinking about ourselves.

Since most of the AUH drifters are new to drifting,
I think it would be better if we choose a more simple track layout.
This is also to give a smooth (and fun) transition for those who've come from other types of driving styles (touring, off-road, etc).

I have some track layout at home, I'll post it up later and we can start modifying that.

this layout should do.. simple layout for tandem battles and with the track being symmetric we can do gymkhana aswell.
