you said your ESC is beeping when you turn on the power right ? Because TEU 101 BK need the two plug to be installed before it work the Black (3pin) & red (2pin) the black is for 2channel & RED is for the 3 channel then 2.4 ghz will not work if you havent bin it together thats why lance is asking you what brand of radio you have i hope every thing is clear now

| better you publish them here.. more people will be able to help..
Q: have you bound the transmitter with the receiver?
If yes, connect the JST plug (red) to the receiver's "batt". Keeping in mind that the black or darker wire should go to the outer side of the receiver. Don't forget to pull the binding plug before doing so.
If not, bind them first and follow the above instructions.
Remember: channel 1: steering servo channel 2: throttle (from ESC) channel 3: auxialliary channel (most of the time is set at "always on")
and the plugs (servo and throttle) has a fool-proof design unless you force it in then you'll get them wrong.

| Yep, tell us what product you have bought. If it is a known brand, you will find the instructions on the net. | |

| It's not a known brand, and there are no instructions on the web. It's half functional now. The throttle is working perfectly, just needed to tweak the settings. However I CANNOT get the steering to work...AT ALL. It's got a thing in it, that measures how much you're accelerating and how much you're turning. When I turn the wheel, the bar moves perfectly, but no response from the servo. I connected the servo to my old tranny, it worked perfectly then. All help appreciated! | |

| Update: I took it to Dragon Mart, where the man gave up also. It is now in hobby centre, let's see if they can do something. Otherwise, it's time to order a new reciever... Thanks for all the help! | |

| I think he says it because, like all debates on this sort of topic,....there is never a clear-cut solution. If you have a TT-01, learn to drive it before you buy 'bling' that will not help you. The one thing that WILL help you is PRACTISE, PRACTISE, PRACTISE, PRACTISE... kinda like school. The TT-01 is good enough, out of the box to drift with....but it needs someone with a deft hand, a mind willing to accept that it takes patience.... Dont waste your money on upgrades now....just drive it, and replace what breaks. I reckon that that car will be good enough for 6 months before you are 'good enough' to warrant a better model. | |

| A'ight, will keep that in mind. Well, that's what I had in mind anyway. Because I'll have the funds (will be saving up allowance) in a few months (probably by February or so), I'll be done learning the basics. I like the TT01, it's just that it's not competition car, it's not that very good. Maybe I would have used my TT01 longer if it came with more adjustable stuff. For now, I will practice with my TT01E, and hopefully I'll have a better kit somewhere in 2010. Thanks for the replies, lot's of VERY helpful posts. I haven't completely made my mind yet (I've got a few months to think about it), but I'm thinking of a TA05 (IFS? Maybe, depends on how much money I have), or a TB03D (again, depends on how much money I have). Cheers! AdBull. | |
