| Greeting to all Sir(s) and Ma'am(s) (if there are any). I'm a newbie to this 'obsession' but I don't have my own drift car yet I'd just like to ask if the Tamiya TT 01 is a good kit?

| Welcome to Dubdrift Forum Site Scarface, TT-01 is a very good starter chassis, but should be at least TT-01D so it will have more good options. but my advice is to find a better high end chassis since you will spend money, why not go for better. right now im having a TT-01D chassiss slyding better and better as i put hop ups. but as an advice from the Experts from the team(you who you are hehee..) it is better to go for high end chassis becuase in the long run... you will be still driving a TT-01. even with full bling. so better search more and find a CF chassis and ask the guys also which they can suggest with your budget! hope this help you out with your concerns! see you around and keep slyding.. | |

| hey man welcome to the forums.. its a drifter out of the box bro.. you just have to change to drifting tires. but i would go for TB02 or TB03 if you want more setting up options. plus check the driver details for available frequencies.

welcome to the sliding world most of us start with TT 01 as starter kit for drifting it is depend on you budget if you have a budget you can go for a high end kit so that you dont have to upgrade alot.

| Hey there scarface. The TT01 is the most recommended entry kit.
But I personally would go for sir Jay's (altimeter) suggestion. The TB03 is considered a mid-level kit and hop-up parts are equally available.
If you have the budget, go straight for the TB03 kit. Rather than starting with the TT01 and then later on spending another kit.
Goodluck. Hope to see you on Saturday. =)

| That's great. We were told 7am-1pm tomorrow (Friday). Most probably we will be setting up our track at the parking lot along with the car show presented by "PEACE". I don't think you'll be able to miss the carshow. Hehe. | |

| Al Nasr Leisureland is right beside American Hospital. Another main landmark would be Lamcy Plaza.
PEACE will be presenting their car show in the main parking lot of Al Nasr. Right infront of the main entrance, so it's almost impossible to miss it sir cholo. =)
