Need help! And need it quick!

Hey Guys! I have been following the site since a while now and always wanted to get into the rc world of drifting. I need your advise on what could be a good buy for an intermediate drifter. The reason for this is coz I have had RC cars before although very basic ones. Now's the time to get involved.

Personally, i live in the Marina and drive a Jaguar xf 2011 portfolio as my daily driver.

as for your enquiry, there is a hobby shop in Karama "Extreme Hobbies"
which sells drift kits... i would recommend the JXR enroute for an intermediate drifter.
the good thing about this chassis is that it's already CF chassis with alloy parts. option parts are also easily available.

we have a member here (dulli) who lives in marina as well,

now for an out of box drifter the hpi2drift is worth while?

And if I wanna build something up what would you guys suggest depending on local availability and best bang for buck rules.

I'm not looking at investing a fortune. upto a 1000USD max on my initial setup.

Enroute JXR chassis would be better than sprint2.... parts for enroute is locally available as well.. and cheaper than most brands...

Just trust me and get the Enroute! I got a TA05 and spent all this money making it somehting it never worked out to be!

Then I got the Enroute! Booom! straight to Drift King Status! Also when i want to upgrade it i just go down to the shop and everything is available!

Where as with my Tamiya I have to do countless hours of searching on Ebay and other RC sites before I can find what I need.

It might be a big investment but definately worth it in the long run... Prices here are also pretty much the same as online! Not like the Tamiya that are a little bit more but dont have the parts!

Mishant, No problem! Im know to say it as it is! The JXR is my primary kit and is better then my TA05 with a VDF conversion is still not as functional as the JXR cos simply the part arent as readily available!

I suggest you hit up Erik directly I PM you his number and he will hook you up with some sort of deal. Trust me he knows what he's talking about even though I didnt believe him at first!
