| since our group is expanding.. a lot has been asking questions which is good for drifting.. well this thread will help beginners to choose which chassis kit they should get. shells doesnt matter here our goal here is to find a kit with perfect center between grip and slide which almost all 4x4s are capable of. all the steps and principles like locking rear diffs and front one-ways are just theories, you need to experiment with suspension oil weight, tires and spring rates to find what suits best for your driving conditions and style. the basic element of any RC Drift cars is light yet strong body with a stiffer chassis, or else it would bend while drifting. here are my entries for intermediates, lets start at the top.. TRF 416 no ones got this one yet.. TRF 415 ahmeds got the MSXX version on sale at hobby center! TB Evolution 5 i got this kit and lance got the MS version which is the latest kit for the TB EVO line as of now. TA05 MS i like this one.. hmm TA05 IFS-R some are using this one and was proven to be a good drifter like sir bong! TB03 Drift Spec ian and jons jj driftshop teams got two of this and their not for sale lol TB02 Drift Spec if you wanna get a chance to win the stock version of this better ask andy for a ticket! TT01R i personally prefer TT01R above all the TT01 series cause its got the most hopups included. btw our current DK is using this one there are more kits out there to choose from different brands too.. ill let the other guys share them.

| From my experience your better off getting a drift designed kit right off the bat! and a belt driven one! Tamiya is great but not here as there are no Hop up / parts and the simplist of parts arent even available!
So the JXR is the best option. As I have both an JXR is the best option because all the items you will need and more are readily available and at great prices!
