Stage 7 and 8 combine in YAS Marina Circuit, Friday MArch 30th, 2012

To the Team,

As an observance of the Holy Week on this coming week we have decided to combine Stage 7 and Stage 8 this Friday March 30th, 2012 in YAS marina Circuit in coordination with Drift UAE. we will start the competition at exactly 8 pm in order to finish early and to have more play time. so we would advice everyone to come to the area earlier.

Please note that we will have other competition on Friday such as Bodyshell of the Night, Drift parking competition, Gymkhana and Slalom. Prizes will be given away to the winners. So get ready for evening of Fun and Drifting. See you all there.

Event Certificate will be given away to all participants of 2012 DubDrift Extreme RC Drifting Championship.

We were advice by Drift UAE organizer that we are going to held the RC drifting in the roof top inside the Circuit in order to better see the Real Car drifting in action.

Note that the track is Cement so gear up your kit accordingly.

Better make a track layout suitable for two drifting paths for separate stages..

I hope I can get out of my cast prior to Friday's event.. Twisted my knee last week.. sad

Update... We will on Asphalt surface.....there will be 2 tracks 1 each stage....

I mean it is possible to design a single track layout that can be "cut" into two..

Just to save time on the track set up.. It's easier to block or open paths than to dismantle and rebuild the track.. I'm sure Jay will be able to come up with something like that.. wink

we did three route options last stage 6 lance.. clockwise, counter clockwise and gymkhana.. all in one track.. done that very happy

but its gonna be hard this time cause we have limited platform space.

To all Dubai participant please meet Chris in Area 2 at exactly 4 pm.... kindly coordinate with Chris.

Note that we will start the competition at exactly 8 PM. so please arrived early and prepare your kit accordingly. Practice run will be stopped 20 minutes prior to the start of the competition.

Please proceed to the same entrance as last week then go straight to the round about then straight again until you reach the Race School.
