Battery charging question

if you charged at 3A then thats pretty good!

think you need to start tryin to run the packs in your car and see what run times you are getting?

i give you credit for persisting with those batteries!

Yup.........been charging the 3000 mAp at 3amp & 3600 at 3.6amp. Discharge both at 2 amps.

Just the temp shut down thingy at 55 degree. Tried to bring sown the cut of threashold from 10 to 7. But no better result. Will just keep cycling to see if it betters.

Every day i cycle all four packs twice. Log them on an excel sheet. All during office hours...............

Its like a ritual now....check emails check charger....check emails then check charger......my office guys think iam crazy!

But now its time to actuall test them in the car. Hopefully this coming saturday. Funny the Lipo should also be here by then.

But ianint giving up sp easy.!!!!! Going to make these blooming battery's work.!

Happy to report that after a intensive cycle charge/discharge for over a week. All the 4 back have life back into them. Ran about 12-15 minutes per pack. Couple more cycles......& they should be bak.!

I have a 1400niCD 2400niCD 3300niMH and a 3600niMH that needs reviving

I did try cycling my 3300niMH with 2 cycles.. but didnt see any changes on performance.. one push on the acceleration and its dead.

I have gone through 8-10 cycles. If u have a good changer with all the settings then its not that difficult.

Guys any recommendations while storing the Ni-mh packs for a week. Complete discharge (to the recommended min voltage offcoarse) or half full? As Ni-mh loose there charge per day.

safest bet would be to charge them half when youre done playing and then top them just before you play again

Half charge is the recommended storage.....but one week is not a long time to leave a Nimh at full charge.....maybe to 3/4 and then ZAP it before racing with them..
