I'm Chino and currently living in Deira Dubai.

I'm planning to start rc drifting, but now i still dont have a rc car to slide with.

IMO, assembly kits are better. They teach you how to go around your car when it has problems.

If you have the budget, go for an intermediate level kit. TA-05 v2 or a TB-03 would be great. A solid axle in the rear and preferably a front one-way, and you'll be drifting like the pro's in no time.

But like Ian (jebjeb) mentioned, there are drift cars being sold in the Market Place after upgrading to a new kit. And if you can't find anything that you need/want from the LHS's, you can get them from online shopping through JJ.

With regard to your 1st kit i suggest you take a 2nd hand kit rather that buying a new one.

Because you will spend more money on upgrade parts but you have a the same kit.

Just add lil money on your budget & you will not be sorry

welcome to the forums man! I prefer lance's suggestion about getting a new one so that you get to know how every part works. doesnt matter if its a cheap begginer chassis and experience the best part of the hobby.. upgrading

or if your not into doing it nice and slowly.. go straight to the top and get a pro-kit. If you decide to get a pro-kit it doesnt matter how fully hopped-up it is Im sure youll be itching for something either for upgrade or bling it.. you will find something to buy.. it doesnt stop

most important thing is to have fun and practice.. its a lot more in the drivers performance than the car itself. now go get one and enjoy the sport of rc drifting!
