| Hi Guys, i just want to share my first scaler SCX10 Honcho, i just used my phone to take pictures for now, once i finish it i will take more pictures of this scaler in action. Have a look and maybe after this you'll decide to get one! This is what you'll get in the Kit Version Just finished building the axles Main chassis with the gearbox attached I attached the axles in the chassis and finished 1 tire (1 tire = 6 screws each side X 5 tires) to be continued . . . | |

| continuation . . . four wheels attached in the chassis. here's the first flex of my scaler added the electronics I did a couple of test run to set up the remote and the steering direction and i decided to run it on a inclined surface and this is what happen next . . . so for those who are interested in buying this kit, you can add metal drive shaft in you list. bye for now and off to ebay to find metal drive shaft.... @strawb - thanx for the links.... | |

| that would be fine ......
i had a junfac made R-1 but i still opted to go with MIP's .... why?
cos they have that reputation of running bullet proof CVD's .... they almost cost the same anyways .... just look for the MIP's which come in pairs ... they cost less than $50 from amain ....
plus Junfac runs some hardened carbon steel ones ..... the MIP's just look and feel A LOT stronger
your call though | |

| The junfac shafts are very good, both in functionality and in price. The main problem with Junfac is they NEVER communicate with people....but if you get them on ebay you are safe. I ordered from their site and they took my money, I heard nothin for 2 weeks and then the items appear on the doorstep. They always deliver.....just dont talk....
The punisher shafts are not very scale, but if you do manage to break them, you need to find another hobby, maybe anvil collecting. | |

| continuation . . . shell where washed with liquid dish washing soap and cut, i also applied the masking on the shell, planning to have white stripe on the body This is my first paint job, there are few spot that are not painted correctly but not noticeable. Overall I'm happy with the result. cant wait to put this shell on and see this beast trailing with the other scalers out there, so guys prepare your scaler and LET'S ROCK!!! i didnt remove the film overpsray yet... my working table... | |
