guys, i support andy here! just come down and run, its more important to get people involved at the moment rather than to nit pick at classes, and specs etc. at the moment were not pros we just a bunch of guys with a passion for RC who want to have some informal races and keep it fun and fair! personally i think the classes are good and keep the overall cost of racing down if we do go ever go big and competative then it would be logical to go by international races classes but until then lets just get down to the track and have some fun

| I think that the 13T Brushless gives plenty of scope for the meydan track. Anymore and it just starts to get silly! | |

| OK.......... the F1 with the mamba in it was a little too silly. But I agree, there is plenty enough scope with the 13T to have some fun at Meydan. I'm going to have to find a better way to put my batteries in though, or buy a higher capacity pack....... One battery is not enough to get through a few heat and a final. I suspect we can gear these 13T quite high and push them a bit harder. | |

| Yeah, judging by my temp guage, we could tweak a lot more out of them if required, I got to 60Deg after a while, Ian was getting 44Deg | |

sounds like we have new class brewing........OUTLAW F1 Thinking of buying one? Well if you are keen, we can see if either of us can hit full throttle..... still not sure if I got there before I ran out of straight........ not easy. Actually, before we started at Meydan, I was considering turning the F109 into a Drag Project. Seemed like a good starting platform, just needed to make new lower deck and lock the diff, new wheels and tires etc. May still do it if a F1 class does not take hold (or if the F1 can't take hold of the track!). I'm really interested in the drag RC cars. Not sure if anyone else interested, there are some groups in US and Aus who meet regularly, and some specialist manufacturers around servicing this branch of the hobby. It's not just as simple as pulling the trigger.

| Are 1/10-th pan cars allowed to join? The World GT, it has the same direct drive system and 2 wheel drive as well?! | |

| Mister-e, I dont see why not, I was considering doing up my F103GT but judging by the performance of the F104 I think I will stick to the 4WD. No reason why you shouldnt run a pan car...as long as you are running rubber tires.... | |

| I think I misunderstood, I thought Mister-e wanted to join the GT with his pan car....my mistake sorry. Now that I read the question again, I assume he wants to join the F1 class with the pan-car...if that is the case then if F1 is outlaw...then it is OUTLAW all the way! | |

| Yep. I've been drooling to try out the WGT pan car. Looks interesting. Using normal 200mm body, direct drive, running foam tires. Able to use only 4 cells NiMh or 1S LiPo. The car doesn't need a lot to do donuts I think will be a blast even using only silver can and 2S LiPo. Well, let's wait till X-Mas | |
