Jay how is the racing gonna work? is the racing going to run over the four days? or is it only on the last day?

May be a bit tricky to enter if you need to be there for all 4 days....unless it is run in the evenings?

I registered for touring only, but I suppose we could register on the day for multiple events??

Not sure how they will do the racing, but if people cannot get to all the days, a daily comp would be best idea....OR, have just demo's and friendly racing until the last day, when the COMPETITION starts :-)

daily comps is a good idea especially if the races where in the evening during week and then big competition day on the friday, then it would probably work best for a lot of us....anyway lets see what sir jays has to say!

i might try and take the thursday off work so i can get 2 days of fun in the track..

i think i'll have difficulty participating in novice with my TA03F. i lack parts that i can return it to its original form too bad for me. unless... I use my porsche cayenne and i think i qualify as it just states "Any 1:10th scale 4WD tub chassis kits" so im in!

as for the dates. if its not night competion as most of us are available only after 5pm, i'll take a leave so i can participate the whole 4 days hahahaha

i beleive there will be a daily race which will determine the race postitions for the championship for the last day friday.

and im sure there wont be any excuse of not participating cause its a work day.. racing starts around 7pm till midnight for the 1st 3 days! then friday its gonna be whole day of racing

qualifying for the 1st 3days then the last day finals?

OK guys, the race Programme for the Touring will probably the same as the nitro offroad. 3 day daily races and a championship race on the fourth day.

Well it looks like I will have to enroll for the outlaw touring class since my kit has carbon chassis. I'll also have to purchase a 10.5 brushless.
I already have the ESC, so won't be wanting to get a combo. Any suggestions for cheap 10.5 motors. I think I will keep with the silver can for mini class though.

It's not cheap, but the Novak Ballistic is probably the best 10.5 you'll find...

you have to check if your esc can handle a sensored motor if you get a novak. . . .

sensorless motor for me only.

I'm a little bit miffed that I need to buy a new motor to enter an outlaw class. From my experience it's not how fast you can go, but the one who crashes the least who tends to win! The motor I have is quicker than 10.5, but I'll be gearing and tuning it down to make it more controllable.

Oh well.......

I am going to see how the TB Evo 4 handles with the GT tuned motor in it......I may enter that into outlaw...

If the handling is as good as I think it will be, I will be able to hoon around that track and stay glued to it!! Wait for all the brushless powerhouses to smash themselves up....and breeze past...LOL

Several remarks here.
For the nitro on road, all bodies are 200mm instead of the mentioned 190mm, which is unlike the regulation as expressed here:

Also, what is the definition of "stock-engine" and what is "modified engine"?
Is a 3 ports .12 engine on what is referred to as stock engine?

As for the electric, brushed 19T is fine as well!
GT-Outlaw rule:
- 19 Turn Brushed or 10.5 Brushless motor allowed with 6 cell or 7.4 volt Lipo.
In here, LiPo users will have an advantage because its lighter and having higher voltage (if the LiPo bat. doesn't explode )
The remark I have is that you can't really mix a touring car (4 doors) body with GT body (2 doors) because of the different downforce each body type creates.
The rule is stating:
- Any 190mm body shell allowed. => Accordint to e.g. ROAR or EFRA

Otherwise, you also could use the Lola type 190mm body!!
