| hi guys, i am very new to this type of rc hobby, i have a couple of gasser back home and a heli, but i am really interested in trying out drifting, i have been doing some research on which is the best one for me, i am not really looking for something that is top shelf but something that i can get started with, so if you dont mind and i know you have been asked this question a million times, which one should i get? i have seen some on dragon mart that has a carbon fiber chassis, another one that is called team magic at an rc store near city center, and a few at an rc store near lamcey plaza, they got tamiya, hpi and thunder tiger which according to the store keep has built in head lights, and they are all ready to run by the way, i am also looking for something that is upgradeable and of course i would like to have something that is on the same level as your rc cars are, i dont want to be branded as "that dude who has the crappy car" if you know what i mean , so i would really appreciate any comments and suggestions so i cant get started in drifting asap, thank you very much and best regards! | |

| Oh my god, it's Tony Montana! Most people usually start off with a simple car, like a TT01, then upgrade to the high end ones, Like the TRF J.Drift is selling. If you feel you can spend a while maintaining the car every now and then, then I strongly suggest you buy a good car in the first place, as everybody upgrades to a better one sooner or later. | |
