2 members per team and 3 stops and a 10min interval at 45mins get my vote.. thumbs_up

Should we draw for the team members or should we choose our own team mates?
Just to make it a little close. If we are to draw, I suggest it to be in the following format:

Supposing there will be 14 racers of 7 teams.
The Top 7, from points garnered in the Mini SSS, will draw from the lower 7.
Making the level of expertise between teams almost equal. Atleast that's what we hope.. very happy

Or if it's not too much to ask, the Top 7 fastest laps made at Al Meydan/Area2 during the series.

I hope I'm making sense here.. neutral

Racing structure sounds good very happy

we could just put all the names in a hat and pick teams that way - it would just be luck of the draw wacko

Hey Guys, all good ideas, thanks for the input....

Lance, getting the top lap times will be very difficult, and I would not use it as a gauge right now for the simple reason is that anyone cutting corners *cough* Ahmed *cough* laughing would have better lap times....on the old area 2 track I saw one or two lap times below 13.5sec when I new that a flawless round by the likes of Eathan, Jamie, Jay and Ian would get you a lap time of about 14.5sec....

The other way we could do it is to first see WHO is going to take part, and work from there. In order to get that rolling, should we set a date for the event? I say the last weekend of this month, or the first weekend of next month....

If possible.....I have it on good authority that if the main management team does not bite, the Kartdrome guys may be able to free up some space for regular meetings... wink

For regular racing I think it was, but for enduro, maybe we should kill off our SC?

Sign me up either way.......

Right gents, are there any others wanting to participate in this?

I am pretty sure Graham is in, but I dont know if Jamie will make it.

What about Eathan (that means the rest of us are doomed lol), Bong, Mister-e, Jay and others??

I am thinking the beginning of next month as a date, maaybe forst or second weekend?

Ok guys, looks like we have some decisions to make......time is running out.

We have settled on 2 person per team and the rules seem to be majority for the 4 pitstops and 10 minute recess.

Now we need to decide a date. I have made it multiple choice, and I have excluded the first weekend as Strawb wants to do the Crawler Gig.

Sooo....that leaves us with the above options. December is going to be impossible for me, I have already determined that I will not be available at all to do it in that month. If you all want to try and operate the event then, you need to get your act in gear.
The poll is multiple choice, so you can select the dates that suit you. I would recommend that we start this about 2pm in the afternoon, with an hour to prepare the track, go over the rules and plan marshalling duties. We will aim to start at about 3pm SHARP so that we are done by 5pm at the latest. By then I expect that the weather will be perfect for a day out, and fans and supporters are encouraged!

Up to you now.
