| Sweet! Did you make the designs yourself or did you follow a tutorial? And what motor will you be using? | |

Ive never flown a 3 channel plane, but do you usually get a rudder control? If you dont its pretty simple, just dont use it! If not get a sim, will save you a lot of time. I find it easy to take off, but cant land to save my life!

| LOL on the rudder....
I had a GP Corsair that I was flying at Nad Al Sheba, the rudder fell off in mid-flight and had absolutely ZERO effect on the flying chartacteristics....having said that, there was no wind so landing was easy..but would have been different if I tried to land in a cross-wind, or take-off without a rudder.
I hear you on learning though...a half-decent trainer should be stable enough not to use a rudder in normal conditions....i.e landing/taking off into the wind..

| Great job Crom! I hope I get to crash.. I mean to fly it when it's done.. - Abdul Basit wrote:
- Crom, this might be a stupid question, but how'd you print it out so big? Some of your cut outs clearly aren't A4
Well, if you notice, there are tapes on the edges of the papers used.. Besides, there are paper sizes bigger than A4.. and of course printers that can print on them too..

| Yeah...Stared at the pictures for a while and got it. So I deleted the post, lol. Thanks though.
I'm interested in making models and hanging them in my bedroom...Not flying them, I know that's not possible on a student budget like mine...Building them is extremely cheap, and I'm only about 40% done with my mini-plane, and it's SOOO MUCH FUN!
Only trouble is...I'm having trouble finding free models...
HELP? I've only found 2 or 3 on the sites above.

| Update:Electric ducted fan, Brushless motor, ESC Assembled Unfortunately, the ESC doesn't have enough juice for this motor. I tested the EDF using my Yeah Racing 25amp ESC from my TA05v2. wooot! this thing blows like an Industrial Electric Fan even better. I think it blows like 500gms of air pressure. I manage to find Pico Servos at 35dhs a piece. But I thought its too small for my purpose. Cost:EDF = 30dhs Brushless motor = 140dhs | |

| From office supplies. Most shops have em. Don't buy the ones with paper & clay backing aka "Sturdy board", Because they're heavy and hard to cut. | |
